Is anyone else on my flist participating in the Back to Middle-earth Month Challenge this year? It's been set up like a game, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun!

Even if you are not playing, I hope you will go check out the stories and the scenarios! Looks like the world's coming to an end...

I'm charged this week with writing the challenge fic for the team Glorfindel. There are four members, and though I haven't communicated with one of them yet, the other two are husband and wife and really really nice. She is the team captain, as far as I'm concerned. :D I'm glancing in at the tavern, but haven't actually posted anything in there yet because I'm not sure if I should post as Glorfindel or make up another character of my own or what. Both Captain Zhi and I are cunfuzzled about this. Last night we were conversing on the sacred state of cunfuzzledness and how not sacred it really is.

I'm just fine! I hope that Glorfy is going to make Esme's acquaintance in the Tavern! (You can probably ask Dawn about posting at the Tavern -- I think everyone on your team is Glorfindel!)

It looked very interesting and I did consider giving it go. I even wrote to someone and questioned the rules, but when I was checking into details it looked as if most people were writing from the perspective of the Elves and so I hurried away. LOL

LOL! Yes, there's only one other hobbit so far, besides Esme! But there are a few Men, too. Strider's there-- he'll take good care of Merry's mum!

I don't know about brave; foolhardy comes closer to the mark. I have no idea what I'm doing, and neither do Pearl and Cathleen, but I think Dawn will help us out! *grin*

You can still sign on with an existing team if you want to, GW--and that way there's also no obligation to write for any of the challenges as long as someone on the team is writing them.

And yes, there's one other hobbit in the tavern (and indeed the whole game), and he's certainly not taking anyone's perspective in but his own, poor fellow!

Elves make everything complicated. After all, they insist on naming all their children with names that begin with "Fin-"...
