Oh, now, I almost wish I had not jumped in so fast, LOL! Because I think a community modded by you would be tons of fun! But seriously, like you, I am very attached to that little community, and would hate to have seen it go bye-bye!

I'm very glad you took it. I have never run a community before and have no idea how I'd manage it. I probably would have just taken it and posted things and made it a paid account so that it wouldn't get shut down.

Not directly related to hobbit_ficathon, but do you have a contact for Stories of Arda? It's like all stories posted after March of this year have disappeared! Yikes! Someone should know about this, if they don't already.

Yes, I know about it. Rorrah, one of the mods, has explained it at the SoA email list: SoA's server has moved its host, and in the process some of SoAs stuff got messed up. They hope to have the problem cleared up today, maybe.
