Half my nominated stories placed! I'm very pleased!

Also, thanks to everyone who reviewed anyone. I finally finished reading all the rest of the reviews that were posted at the end. (I've been reading them all as they came up.) And there are some really astute readers out there!

MEFA10 was my worst year yet for reviewing, thanks to landing the new job, relocation, and the year-end escalation of the new job's demands. But one of the best things about MEFA is exposure to the rich panoply of fics in Tolkien fandom. I often revisit the MEFA site throughout the year to browse for new fics to read.

I purposely left "A Decent and Respectable Hobbit" to (almost) last so I could look foreward to reading a wonderful story over again at the end. I'm thrilled it came in first in its division, and I am so glad my review for it was appreciated. I tried to respond to reviews as they happened, but with the unveiling of your hidden reviews all in a clump I couldn't do that, so hope you didn't mind the lump thank you!
