Is anyone else running out to peek at the eclipse? I keep going out, but it's a bit nippy to stay out there.

I don't remember eclipses being this slow...

I'm looking out for it, but i can't see the moon from home so i'm just waiting for it never to be daylight this morning I guess. So far it's just a very slow sunrise and I'm too far from the sea to see it properly. And it's freaking cold out and I've got too much to do to go loook for it. :) It feels very slow, yes.

In Croatia, eclipse was visible only a little bit in the dawn; that is, it would've been visible had it not been cloudy and rainy. So, no eclipse for me this time. But next year there will be another in June, and I think we (Europe) will see in in evening/early night hours. Hopefully weather will be ok then. :)

Did you see the whole eclipse or did you go to bed? How did you like it? :)

stayed watching it for the most part; i mistranslated the time however and didn't take a big enough air tank and had to run in and exchange an empty for a full one then got bored once i could see the entire moon as it was coming back so only watched till it was about half recovered, about two hours all told.

Didn't stay up that late, sinc I had to be up early to get ready for work. But they're fun to watch, and I hope you got to see a lot of it.

Lunar eclipses are always much slower than solar ones, yep--a matter of hours rather than minutes.

I didn't get to see it--too many clouds. :(

Hope you got to see it! It's been raining here and we haven't seen the sun or stars for days.

Rain got in the way. As Shirebound and I were lamenting yesterday, it seems every time there is some noctural show, we have crappy weather for it. :(

Too many clouds and snow here! And at any rate I was snugly bundled in flannels when it was supposed to be going on and wouldn't have wanted to head outside anyway!
