Arrrggghhh!!!!

For the second time in three days my favorites list has automatically rearranged itself into alphabetical order!

I have ALWAYS had my most frequently used favorites at the top, and my least frequently used near the bottom. NOT alphabetical order.

It took me the better part of two hours the other day to put it BACK like I had it. And NOW it's all undone.

Does anyone know how I can make my computer STOP being so darn "helpful"?

(We just renewed our Norton. Could that cause it?)

Not a clue I am afraid but then I always knew that machines have minds of their own. Just be glad that your is trying to be 'helpful'!

I know they do, too! But this sort of "help" I don't need. Norton is always overly helpful when I first renew it, but mostly it consists of little boxes asking me if I am "sure" a site is safe and do I really want to open it? (The answer being, yes, I know my email is safe, and my LJ, and so forth.)

But I don't really know if this is connected to that. Only that it never happened before.

How frustrating! I have to alphabetize my favorites manually if I want them in any kind of order.

I never had it do this before. When I got the computer, some things that came with it were on the favorites in alphabetical order, but not anything else. Any new favorites went to the bottom, and then I had to move them where I wanted them.

I *LIKED* it that way. I don't know whats up with this, but it's darn annoying.
