That looks unpleasant.

We were supposed to have flurries today, but we had rain instead. And then the storm got pushed out by an arctic front and the temperature dropped down to the teens.

I'm not sure I wouldn't rather have had the snow. But then again, at least I don't have to go out in that wind and shovel.

That's just about what it's like in central New York, too.

Except I'm convinced it's colder! I'm fine with cold, but I took Arthur out to go to the bathroom, and I was very annoyed with his pickiness VERY quickly.

Maybe if I gave him a haircut, so he wasn't like a large bear, he wouldn't take his time so much...

hehe.

I'm convinced cold is relative, up until a point at least. "10 degrees cooler than usual" is much crueler than "ten degrees warmer than usual" - even if your usual is 40 and mine is 15.

Today I saw the sidewalk for the first time in all too long. Even went out with just my coat (no hoodie jacket under it). Pride goeth before and all that, of course, because by night it was colder than the Helcaraxe and twice as slippery.

We're going to have to have a huge party when the first blooms of Spring finally appear!

Yeah... we're getting this today as well. 3-5 inches for us, then more below-0 temps. But hopefully by the weekend, it'll warm up quite a bit and a lot of this will finally melt. *fingers, toes, arms, legs, eyes crossed*

It's coming down here too. I am so very tired of snow.
