Loved these! How perfectly Merry and Pippin to slip out early, and so rascally Bilbo to cover for them. Delightful.

I don't recall ever reading a fic about how folk would react to Sam's new station. I can really see this conversation happening.

Indeed, I'm sure that they'd figure out their best chance of following was to be where they could see the company go by. And of course Bilbo would cover for them!

I am sure that there were some who were surprised about it-- and none more so than an older sib who can't see Sam as any more than his kid brother!

I enjoyed both fics very much esp. the Eleven Walkers one-- i could very well imagine Merry and Pippin not getting the ok from Elrond and sneaking off like that. I really liked both fics! Great job with replying to the challenges well. :)
