I like that very much. Thanks for posting it. Didn't Mary also (at least traditionally) ride on a donkey to Bethlehem? So one was there at the beginning and one at the end.

Yesterday we did something different at church to read the Passion. The Pastor prepared a script - word for word from Matthew - and various members of the congregation took parts. I, alas, was assigned to be the High Priest. Pastor read the narrative portions and we each stood and said our parts as they came. It made the story a little more 'alive' than just listening to the Pastor read it all himself. And as it went on people started putting more emotion into their parts, which made it even better.

Cool poem. We take parts also. I hadn't thought of that before - a donkey at the beginning and at the end - very appropriate.
