I love it too. Even if I don't understand the words, the feeling comes through loud and clear, and the *tune? melody?* is at once soothing and uplifting.

Well, the words are only "kyrie elieson" which means "Lord have mercy" in Greek; but in the plain chant it seems to really mean all of that and more!
