Today's mail

In today's mail was our utility bill for last month: $75 more than we expected it to be.
Also in today's mail: an unexpected refund check from our insurance company for an $80 overpayment.

If only all problems would be solved so promptly. *grin*

That reminds me of ages ago when M. was a student and we were barely making ends meet, I had this temporary job. Well one week in the summer it was really slow and I was only working part of the week. Well, I happened to win the exact amount I had lost from not working part of the week by buying one of those $1 lottery tickets that you scratch! :D
