Halloween decorations

	Halloween decorations Here are our decorations for Halloween this year. We still have to put out our lights, and we have a few things inside the porch that we will not put our until Halloween night.

	See my little "trick or treater"? From the street he looks quite real! I found instructions for making him in a library book a couple of years ago, and finally got the chance this year. You use a pair of toddler shoes and blue jeans (picked up at a yard sale), dowels, a large styrofoam ball, plaster of paris, plastic bags, a wire coat hanger, an old sheet, a trick or treat pumpkin and a cap. He didn't cost much to make except for the styrofoam ball and the plaster of paris! You can't tell but he's tied to the porch rail post. Even with the plaster weighing his feet down he tends to blow over otherwise.
	Side angle From this angle you can see the "gravestones". We have lights to put up, but will be doing that probably by Monday. We always have so much fun decorating for holidays!

I haven't yet take pics of some of our indoor decorations; I'll try to do that soon!

I honestly don't know if they do! But some of the decorations do light up, and on Halloween night we will put glowsticks in some of them and flashlights in others.

Ever since I saw him in that book I knew I'd just have to make him one day! Believe it or not, the hardest thing to find was the plaster of Paris! Lowe's only sold forty pound bags, Walmart had none, Hobby Lobby didn't either! We finally found some in the Michaels in Edmond!!!

We did! The lights are up now, too! I can't wait for Halloween night to light everything up and move some of the stuff inside the porch to the deck to welcome the trick-or-treaters!
