I feel rotten

I called in to work for this afternoon. Cut for ickiness...

Last night I started feeling like I had what I think of as a "sour stomach". I kept burping, and the burps tasted like I'd been eating tunafish (which I had NOT). In the wee hours, I started having diarhhea, and then a little while ago, I began throwing up.

It may have been something I ate, but I suspect that it's down to all the sinus that's been draining down the back of my throat instead.

I'm going to try to rest today, eat lightly, and try to stay warm. Maybe do some writing if I feel up to it.

Bleh. I was afflicted with symptoms very similar to yours on three separate occasions while I was an undergrad. The physicians at the student health center attributed it to food poisoning. The episodes lasted about 24 hours, and I was left feeling wiped out afterward.

So, this, too, will pass (so to speak), but take care!

I got a reprieve from the document I thought I might need to revise this weekend. Now that I am caught up with Downton Abbey, I do believe I'm going to go sketch a Lil Gothmog cartoon. :^)
