I love LJ, it's my home, but this is one of the lowest things they've done. :(

What is wrong with LJ again?
1. This is how my LJ strip looks like (the example is
dracotops_harry, but it's like this for many journals (not
marguerite_26's, though).

2. When I go on "Home" I can't access the top LJ strip at all.

marguerite26 at Livejournal, come on.
Livejournal Scrapbook is going away. Your 10GB of Paid Member space is now 2GB. If you care, there is an explanation in Russian on the Russian news page. There's also a user-submitted translation.
+ You will no longer have access to your Scrapbook once this goes live.
+ Your images will redirect, but the URL will be different.
+ Unable to tell what will happen to any photos you have that put you over the 2GB limit.
+ Back up your Scrapbook just in case.
+ If you want your photos transferred over now instead of waiting, let them know here.

Date: 2012-04-28 10:46 pm (UTC)But yeah, someone needs to get it through LJ Russia's thick heads that the bulk of the userbase has English as either a first or second/other language but is extremely unlikely to know Russian. And, y'know, likes to be INFORMED, at minimum. (I feel so sorry for staffers like astronewt who really do seem to want to do the right thing by the users but can't get straight answers from the Russians.)

Date: 2012-04-29 01:49 pm (UTC)I don't know... it seems rumors and panic are de rigueur with LJ users anytime anything changes (mainly due to LJ's complete fail at being open and timely about announcing said changes), and though it's a good idea to back up your photos (since one big ugly Russian coup could kill LJ completely), I'm not too concerned about it, personally. Admittedly, that's in large part because I switched to using Photobucket exclusively quite some time ago--it's far easier to use HTML to post a photo than LJ's clunky insert image feature; photos post the size I want them to (Scrapbook images are automatically shrunk so you have to click twice to see the full size original); I can also post those to easily to DW (which has no photo storage yet) or anywhere else I might choose; and most of all, I have my photos stored independently from LJ, because even though I love LJ, I don't entirely trust it (see above mentioned customer service communication fail and Russian coup risk)!
