The DH went out to do the yardwork today, and he found some s-n-a-k-e-s in the back yard!

I am SO phobic about them it's not funny. Will NOT be going out to work in my garden until the situation is resolved.

And while I know most are harmless, etc.etc. it makes no never mind to me.

Ekkk! I feel the same way. They probably are harmless but who wants to get close enough to find out whether they are or not?

We may have alligators in the backyard of the new house. If we do, I have told hubby we need a fence ASAP! Fences don't stop snakes though. Maybe a cat?

Hugs,
Rach

Oh dear! Hopefully they're just passing through.

*shiver*

I'd stay out of the yard, too. I hope the situation is resolved quickly so you can get back to your garden!

*Shudder*

I don't like snakes much either. I would stay inside where it's nice and comfy and let them go on their way. Far, far, away.

Though I love them and think they're beautiful, I don't want snakes anywhere near me.

oh eek! :( Snakes don't bother me, but a big spider or two in the house is enough to cause a freak out for me!

I am ok with snakes, as long as they don't startle me... I don't like ANY wildlife startling me. But I understand phobias. For me? It's bees. I can't watch them on TV, I can't hear a buzzing sound without cold shivery chills, and if one gets anywhere near me I have 2 possible reactions. The first is FREEZE... while I frantically beg whoever is near me to get it away from me. I can only do that for so long before the second response takes over - run screaming hysterically and waving my arms and did I mention screaming?

My biggest shame is the time a bee landed on my son and I couldn't bring myself to flick it off. My friend had to do it. *blush*
