Hey, LJ! I do not like the new scrapbook!

I thought at first I would-- it's much faster uploading. But you seem to have take away the whole purpose of it-- before, I could arrange the pictures and captions right there at the scrapbook, and the pictures would be sized properly for an LJ entry. The whole entry would be ready to go.

Unless I am missing something it won't do any of that anymore. I just get a pageful of gigantic pictures with no captions at all. Bummer!

I've only ever stored a few pics at Scrapbook. I found it unwieldy and hard to use, so I just use Photobucket instead.

It was a little awkward to upload and very slow, but if it was something I wanted to post, it made it easier at the end.

Now it's not unwieldy-- it uploaded very quickly, and you can upload multiples at once, just like Photobucket.

But without the caption thingy that automatically sized the pic and prepared the entry, it's taken away my whole reason for using it. So I too, will be mostly using Photobucket again.

(Only they've also made some changes there too--supposed improvements that annoy me because they are different than what I was used to.)

*sigh* Why doesn't anyone ever believe the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" anymore?

There is a button for sizing the pic on the bottom of the pic page. It took me a while to find it too.

You can resize them, there is a button to adjust size. The recent bee photos I posted use scrapbook.

I got the giant photos too! They were so huge that you couldn't tell what they were. It was scary. The only way I've been able to put photos on a post was by posting via my IPhone. Those photos went over just fine but then I messed it up by deciding to include another photo and doing that on computer. That's when I got the huge photo and wound up removing all of the pictures from the post. Very annoying.
