I'm very proud of my garden this year.

So far we have had three or four pounds of cherry tomatoes, with nearly that many more yet to get ripe enough to pick.
We had about twenty radishes, already harvested and mostly eaten.
We've had about a half-dozen onions so far, and there are still about a dozen more in the garden waiting for their time.
We had one small volunteer cabbage, which made delicious cole slaw.
We have already eaten about four messes of green beans, and since the DH is out of town this week, I just harvested about 2 pounds, which I will put in the freezer. The yard-long beans are still bearing, and my bush beans finally are, so I anticipate maybe at least another three or four pounds of those.
We have cucumbers out our ears. I've made fried cucumbers for the DH twice, as well as putting them in his salads, but the real reason I grow them is for pickles. I put up two quarts of bread&butter refrigerator pickles today, and Saturday I plan to make some dill pickles and some lime pickles. But I am going to have a lot more cukes coming in.

The zucchini died and the carrots and parsnips never sprouted. I will try the latter again for fall.

It's been a quiet week, but I have been so tired and sleepy I haven't got half the things done I wanted to; also I've had more shifts at work than usual this week. Tomorrow I have to work again and then on Sunday. I have gotten some writing done, but I did not complete any chapters this week for posting so far. *sigh* Mostly I am trying to figure out how to get stuff off my old computer and onto my new one.

fried cucumbers! Like shirebound, I've never heard of that! Although, ironically, I've heard of fried pickles before!

Oh wow, you sure did have a bounty, didn't you!

If I was close, I could move your stuff. It's what I did for a living. Well, one thing I did. Can you network the two machines together and just copy?

Congrats on the garden. Ours is limping along. It's only the first year and we need to work on our soil, but we'll get there.

Hugs,
Rach
