I just started a re-read of the LotR, and decided that I really need to also do a re-read of the Silmarillion, which I haven't read in probably twenty years. So this project comes at a perfect time! Thanks for the heads up, as I would never have seen it otherwise. :)

I meant to comment on this earlier, but forgot. I want to say thank you for linking to this project. I must admit I haven’t read the book. Not for lack of trying though, or want. I’ve given it a try a few times, but I never make it very far. I wish I had because I would love to know more of Tolkien’s universe and mythology. I have the book so I shall give it another go as I keep an eye on what people post during the project.
