Admittedly, I only took a peek at the DW profile page, because I don't have time this morning to scroll through actual posts there, but what exactly does this challenge entail? It's not entirely clear from the profile...
Each day there's a different small challenge, for example, to post 3 links to your own work; to rec someone else's; to check out a fandom you are unfamiliar with, etc. I am not sure if the challenges will be the same this year as last. None of them were very hard, and it only lasts 15 days, instead of a whole month.
I'd think "join" would be easier, but I would not be surprised if "subscribing" worked as well. If they do it like last year, you post the answers in your own LJ (or DW acct. or blog or whatever) and then post a link as a comment at the community.
Ah, thank you. As long as I've been on LJ/DW, I *still* do not entirely have the hang of communities! I must be one of these people that needs everything spelled out step by step. LOL
