OK, there are dozens of great people I've come to know over the years in this fandom; all of them are creators in some sense of the word, most of them fanfic writers. Some are artists, or create other sorts of great things for fandom. Many of them I think of as good friends, and there are a number of them I've met in real life. All of them are dear to me. Some of them I interact with frequently as co-mods or fellow members of various communities.

shirebound. She was in the fandom before I was, and she always has a kind word for others. She will always give a helping hand and an encouraging virtual hug. She's a talented writer of stories that are always sweet, gentle, filled with love and total respect for Tolkien's work. I hope one day that I will get the chance to hug her in person.
I think by now, nearly everyone on my flist knows I am talking aboutshirebound.
