A fic recommendation

I have recently discovered a new (to me, anyway) author on Stories of Arda, and it seems that she has something I often crave, but can rarely find: Bilbo stories.

She has a lovely long one that I am only about halfway through. It is sweet and gentle, and a wonderful picture of what life might have been like for Bilbo just before he decides to take Frodo on.

It's called "Nothing of Note", but I can tell you right now that it is definitely *something* of note! And the author is called Primsong.

I wasn't able to read all of it when I approved her to post, but I can tell you the parts I read were very well written. She has captured the voice of Bilbo perfectly. In one part he was chasing obnoxious visitors from his door and I almost fell off my chair laughing.

It's such a delight! I've read twenty more chapters since I posted this. I suppose I ought to be stringing it out more to make it last, but I just can't seem to quit. Her Bilbo is sweet, wise, brave, generous and funny. I'm so glad to have found it. Thank you very much for approving her to SoA!!!
