What a day!

dreamflowerI actually thought I was going to sleep through the night last night. But the DH and I woke to the sound of steady rain about a quarter to five, and of course, we *had* to go check...Yep, my sewing/craft room had flooded, *again*. We have this down to a sorry routine now. Move the few items out of the way, open the door to the carport, start sweeping out the water, and throw down about a million towels. And I had *just* gotten all the laundry done and caught up yesterday.
Meanwhile, we are cleaning this mess up, and the dogs, who refused to go off the front porch, crapped on the living room rug. *sigh*
Well, by the time we had everything dealt with, it was too late to go back to bed. And it's going to be a long day today, as DH has to work late on Wednesdays...
Oh well, at least I got to read a few fics this morning and update "Chance Encounter".
But I'm so sleepy...
