dreamflowerComing up very soon, I will be posting my last Chapter of the Week summary for LotR over at rec.arts.books.tolkien and alt.fan.tolkien.
Uh, I may have bitten off more than I can chew. It's Appendix C, the hobbit family trees.
Yeah. Not *exactly* the kind of thing that you can just boil down to a few scintillating sentences. I want to do it justice, and knowing that there are different versions of the family trees in the People of Middle Earth volume of HoME, I put in a request with interlibrary loan. But I don't think it's going to come in in time. Does anyone know of some online sources of that information?
Also, I've bookmarked a few sites on genealogy, with explanations of "cousinship" on them, but I am really looking for any insights anyone can offer here.
So, anyone with brilliant (or not so brilliant) ideas on the subject, step right up...
