*I'M BAAAACCCKKK!!!!*

Hello Everyone! Our cable just came up, and I am *BACK*! I don't know how I'm going to catch up on everything I have missed for the last 3 weeks, but I am going to give it a try.

I have kept a diary of my experiences during the hurricane, fortunately much milder and less traumatic than that of a good many people. I'll be posting it shortly. But I know that a good many of you have been worrying about me, so I am taking this first chance I've got to let you know that I am fine, my DH is fine, marigoldg's mom, Anna, is fine, and the dogs are fine. My home is in good shape, though we took a bit of damage, and now that the internet is back up, all the basic necessities of life are met.

I'd also like to thank grey_wonderer for her marvelous gift of stories. I enjoyed them very much. I have to go deal with a few household things, and then I will come back and try to catch up on everyone. I apologize in advance to my flist, for I am sure that I will not be able to comment on everyone, but I'll do my best.

I do have tons! And when I woke up thia morning, the internet was down again, and then I had to run errands all day. I was holding my breath all day hoping it would be back when I came home!

Thank goodness you're back and you're all safe, with a roof over your heads. The whole experience must have been absolutely atrocious. Your diary should be a great insight into what you have had to go through.

And getting the net back must be a sign of some returning normality. (Of course, electricity and clean water are probably rather more important - but the net is a plus!)

Well, I certainly didn't feel like my life was back until I could get online again! It's so good to be back with all my friends again!

I am so glad to hear from you! We've all been terribly worried. How lucky you've all been. The news reports from your neck of the woods have all been so scary!

I was very relieved to hear you made it through the storm all right and GW said she talked to you and everyone was fine. It was scary that first week and a half, having no word.

Well, no worries if you're not able to catch up. Three weeks is a long time to be away from here. I'll be very interested to hear about your experiences when you're able to post them. ((hugs again))
