Harry Potter
Jul. 21st, 2006 06:46 pmAs I've mentioned once or twice, my DH is more into Harry Potter than I am, re-reading the books often, and re-watching the movies. I told him the other day about how they are taking odds on which characters will be killed in the last book, and the speculation on what will happen...
...anyway, he came up with a sily theory that makes me wish he would try to write fanfic, or that I had an interest in writing Harry Potter fic, although it would probably infuriate a lot of HP fans. He was joking, but: Ron dies; Harry ends up with Luna Lovegood; Hermione ends up with Neville Longbottom, and Percy turns out to be Voldemort! I nearly died laughing, imagining the uproar.
But it got me to thinking, he might enjoy some HP fic. He's not into LotR fic, though he used to read *my* stories before I got too many for him to keep up with.
I've never really had much interest in HP fic. So I'd like to know--is there any *good* *gen* HP fic? He'd definitely have no interest in pairings! (Slash OR het) But from all I can tell, it seems HP fandom is all about the pairings.
Nothing too long or involved. I'll have to print them out--he doesn't like to read on the computer screen.
