dreamflowerI'm on the DH's laptop. Thank goodness he didn't take it with him out of town, because my own computer is seriously possessed...
Okay, lately, if I turn it off, when I turn it back on I get the black screen that says "windows did not start" and to either hit "Last Known Configuration" or "Start Windows Normally". I usually have to go through that several times before it comes up,(as between 12 and 40 times) and then it's USUALLY all right as long as I don't shut it off. Except I've also had it freeze up on me, or shut down unexpectedly more often than normal. Norton *says* I don't have a virus, but I don't know what else would do this.
This morning I had fits getting it to come up, and it wouldn't stay up longer than just a few minutes before it would either freeze or shut down. I finally got it up, and thought it was going to stay, so I sent myself a bunch of emails to *this* computer, just in case. I can work on the laptop a little bit, but there's a lot of files I still don't have access to on this.
Anyway mine's down again, and I am very perplexed. I guess I'll have to call tech support. *sigh*
But right now I'll just use the laptop.
