I just got this message thingy on my LJ saying my password is too easy to guess. Bummer. I don't know how that could be, unless it's because I always use the same one, as otherwise I could never remember all of them. I don't want to change my password; why would anyone hijack my journal anyway? Most folks on my flist know my style--I'm sure an imposter would go over like a lead balloon.

I keep getting the same message -- and keep ignoring it. There are only so many passwords we can juggle in our poor, weary brains!

I've heard that a lot of people got that message. I didn't, which is weird, since I only have three passwords and the one for lj is the one I use most often.

That's what happened when I signed-up with gmail and online banking as well as with the college network. *sighs* so now I have like four passwords instead of just the one that I use wtih LJ. Well, good luck with that.

As long as no one's posting as you or messing with your information, no biggie. I'm surprised I haven't gotten that message, because my password isn't a wonder of confusion either...

You know how I am with new passwords (or even old ones).

I think actually you just need to have a number somewhere in your password now.

I got that too and had the same thoughts about my LJ. :) I changed the password to one I have for another LJ so that it is something I am familiar with. Too many passwords are not good.

I got the same message, but I ain't changing mine either. I'm wondering if it's an automatic thing because my password is a collection of words instead of random letters and numbers.

It is insane how many different passwords you are "supposed" to have for things these days. No one can possibly remember something separate for all of those things. It's almost enough to make you think those scary stories where everybody just gets assigned one number for everything are a good idea. (Almost.)

LJ now wants a number in the password. I don't want to change mine either... it's not easy to guess anyway...

I use the same password everywhere too. So long as it has some numbers thrown in there, and a couple of letters in CAPS (if it's a cap-sensitive password) they will accept the password.

why would anyone hijack my journal anyway?

Why would anyone want to hijack anything? Some people just have nothing better to do.
