Well, I took part in the survey, and the guy emailed me, and wanted to ask me some more questions, so I did. Then he asked to set up a phone interview.
I just got off the phone after a delightful hour-and-a-half of unrestrained yammering about Tolkien, hobbits, fandom, hobbits, fic, hobbits (sounds a lot like my conversations with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
danae_b only without the giggling and squeeing!)--he was very courteous and asked some very good questions.
He's working on a book, as well as some smaller papers dealing with Tolkien and fandom.
