Major, major, major SQUEE!!

I had an Arts & Sciences class to teach tonight for my SCA Barony, so I taped LOST. The only ones who came were Lord A. and his wife Lady E. They showed me a replica of Sting that they had been given, complete with Elijah Wood autograph in Sharpie, and a scabbard. It had a tiny bit of water damage from the storm, barely noticeable. Well, of course I squeed over it, and managed to avoid giving it any more water damage from my drool!

And then Lord A. said "It's yours!"

Be still my heart! I could not *believe* they would do something so generous for me. Surely my jaw hit the floor!

He said it was because he didn't know any bigger LotR fan than me. I'm not perfectly sure about that, but I certainly wasn't going to argue.

My heart is still going pit-a-pat!!

I'll watch LOST tomorrow.

What unbelievably generous people! I'm sure they could see how much such a gift meant to you. Can you post a photo of it, with our sweet lad's signature? How wonderful!

It is just totally incredible to me. It's amazingly generous, and I can't thank them enough.

If I ever have any luck with it, I will *try* to post some pics. But I seem to just be hopeless when it comes to photobucket.

That sounds just wonderful! I have a replica of Sting that resides on my family room coffee table. But, alas, no great autograph of "Frodo"--wow, that is a treasure. Lucky you!

I would never have expected to own the Sting replica, much less an autographed one, although I saw one someone else had. Right now this one's residing on the dining room table, but as soon as I can, I shall have it custom framed. *whoosh*
