It's me again.
Sep. 12th, 2004 03:04 amI've been enjoying trying to get the hang of this LJ thing, and now I'm up in the wee hours, sleepless again, so I'm playing around with it some more.
My DH and I had a lovely evening clelbrating our anniversary--went out to eat at a very nice restaurant that specializes in Creole food. I'm not that into spicy, but they have a salad dressing there that is out of this world, and I always get one to go with my hot roast beef po boy. Then we went to a bookstore. Unfortunately I couldn't find much in the way of a book, but did manage to get a LoTR calendar for next year.
We're keeping an eye on Ivan--looks like he might head in this direction. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Hurricanes=NO FUN!!! 8-<
I am having a blast reading everyone's comments--this is so cool!! Thanks, Marigold! ( I can't find my piece of paper with the directions for making your name thingy. It's around here somewhere...)

hello
Date: 2004-09-12 01:30 am (UTC)I'm one of Marigold's friends. Just want to say Happy anniversary!
My Mom is in Fla. and just got her electric back from the last hurricane. I hope they avoid you.
Thank you for your kindness to Marigold.
Sarah
Re: hello
Date: 2004-09-12 02:55 am (UTC)I hope the power outage was the worst thing your mom had to deal with. They do seem to get it back on a bit more quickly nowadays than they used to. We were without for ten days after Elena, but with Georges it was only three days.
I hope we are avoided,too!
I'm having great fun with Marigold!
