After church today, the DH and I drove into Stillwater for lunch, and a visit to the library there. On the way, we were listening to the LotR soundtrack, and it got to the part just after Gandalf's fall in Moria.

Me: Poor Gandalf!
DH: Why do you say that?
Me: Well, he was falling into the abyss.
(short beat)
DH: Well, at least he was falling for a hottie!

After I stopped laughing, I suddenly wondered if anyone had ever written any Gandalf/Balrog. *facepalm* Y'all have totally corrupted me, LOL!

I didn't mention that to him.
