Talking on the phone...

danachan coming to visit at Christmas! Then we can have conversations like this in RL! (We just got *off* the phone after talking for about two hours, and this is an honest to goodness recreation of part of our talk.)
Dana: I like hobbits.
Me: I like hobbits, too!
Dana: I never would have guessed that about you!
Me: I know, it's an amazing coincidence isn't it?
Dana: Yes. Hobbits are awesome…
Me: They are!
Dana: The awesomest awesome that ever awesomed…
Me: You know, you're right. The Professor was a genius. Before him, there were no hobbits, and then he came along, and there were hobbits.
Dana: That's true.
Me: One day, he just turned some kid's test paper over, and wrote them down. It was like 'Let there be hobbits'.
Dana: Wow, you're right. Hobbits. *sigh*
Me: Hobbits, hobbits, hobbits…
Both of us: hobbits, hobbits, hobbits, hobbits, hobbits…(crack up laughing!)
Me: *giggle* You know, I bet we can name a few other people who would have conversations like this…
Dana: I bet we could, too!
I can just imagine the looks the two of us will get when we have this kind of conversation in front of other people! *grin*
