2 things I wish I could do, one unselfish, one selfish:

1. Be dictator of the world for one week, after which I could vanish into obscurity but none of the things I would do could be undone. I'd spend the week ending wars, correcting injustice, and making arrangements to end poverty and disease. I'd get the advice of people I respected, to make sure there were no unnecessary side-effect of my meddling. (If I'm going to fantasize here, let's make it good.)

2. Win enough money so I could rent a resort in New Zealand and bring in all my LJ friends for a huge moot! All expenses paid in full for everyone. And I'd have enough to bring in our favorite LotR/TH celebrities for personal appearances! And when it was over, I'd still have some left, enough to retire on! (Probably have to be Publisher's Clearing House. I always forget to buy lottery tickets, LOL!)
