Just an announcement to let everyone know:

Many Paths to Tread is now an open archive. Anyone may now join and post their stories there, so long as they follow the posting rules and guidelines!

We hope many of you will decide that it will make a good repository for your LotR fics!

We're very excited about this!!

Beginning in January at the Many Paths to Tread archive, we are going to reward those who make the list of "10 Most Prolific Reviewers" with special banners and icons designed by the talented rhapsody11!

ceshaughnessy, dawn_felagund, pearltook1 and I have been working very hard on this for months now, and are so pleased that it is now available.

For the time being, only members at the lotr_community or its sister group on Yahoo! LOTR_Community_GFIC will have posting privileges. Unfortunately that means a mod will have to set your posting status manually, so please be patient when you sign up to post. However, anyone can read and comment.

It *is* a new archive, and so if you have any problems, please email the mods for general questions or our websmith Dawn if there are any techy-type questions!

But, well, please come play with our shiny new toy!

Tonight at about 7PM Central Daylight time, the lotr_community will be having a "ribbon-cutting" for the announcement of the opening of our brand new archive, Many Paths to Tread!

Please check the community at about that time for an exciting post with a link to the site.
