The other day, the DH and I were in a restaurant, and I saw this woman who had a *very large* tag, hanging out the neck of her shirt. Well, if it was me, I'd want to know, so I could fix it, but the DH kept telling me to ignore it. Finally, after we finished our meal, I went to the restroom and he went to the car to wait for me, and I went back, and told her. She was, as I had hoped, not at all mad, but grateful. When I got to the car, DH said "Did you tell her?" When I said yes, he said "I knew you would."

With the caveat, of course, that the rest of the person's attire suggests that they would care about having a tag hanging out the back...

There are two possibilities for me. If the person is a stranger I'd do nothing... if it's a friend I'll fix it without saying anything :)

If it's a friend, I'd just fix it without a thought. If it's a stranger, I'd ignore it, if I even noticed it (I'm pretty oblivious to things like that, which is why people are always tucking *my* tags back in, lol).

Well, it depends. If it's someone I know and I'm comfortable with them, I would fix it myself. If it's someone I'm only acquainted with, I would tell them. If it's someone I don't know, I wouldn't say anything (but I probably would wonder why the person they're with doesn't say anything).
