Apr. 5th, 2006 08:41 amRec-Go-Round: Rec me one story you've written (preferably fan fiction, but if you've not written any fanfic, then you can rec an original piece instead) that you're proud of, any genre, here on my LJ.
Then go forth and ask the same in yours.
ETA: poems are also good. Or essays.
I'm *hoping*, of course, for hobbitfic I've never read before. But if it's Elves, Dwarves or Men, or original fic, or fic in another fandom, I'll give it a look-see as well.

Flustering and Blustering ? I loved writing Bilbo.
If not, I am very proud of my most recent ficlet, Eulogy for a lost companion, but it isn't up yet.

That cranky bitchSerinde, being the strong-willed person that she is is flat-out refusing to talk to me any more about that time line at the moment. Seems she'd rather hang out in the AU where she's not a grieving widow. *sighs more*no subject

Date: 2006-04-05 09:18 pm (UTC)So, here is a Muppet/X-Files crossover (action-adventure/humor) that I think has stood the test of time well. Very, very G-rated:

Date: 2006-04-05 10:54 pm (UTC)In fact, my son adored it! He was about five one time; I had gotten dressed up for church, and had curled my hair. He looked at me with admiration, and said "Mommy, you look beautiful, just like Miss Piggy!"
I just about died trying to keep a straight face, because he really meant it as a compliment!
And I remember how much I enjoyed the first few seasons of X-files as well! That *was* when it was at its best!
However did you come up with such a crazy yet wonderful combination?

Date: 2006-04-06 10:05 pm (UTC)The crossover combination was actually a response to a challenge... written back when I was young and single and jobless, so had time to do challenges. :)

Date: 2006-04-05 09:35 pm (UTC)Hmmm... I have NO idea how much of my stuff you've read, so I am going to gamble and find one of my Harem pieces. Believe it or not, I did write several that were G or PG.

Waiting for Bilbo (And if you don't have time for the other, this is a little one-shot; Frodo and Merry, the last Yule before he leaves Brandy Hall.)
