I'm hungry. But I can't have breakfast, because in a few minutes I have to leave and go get some fasting blood work done that was postponed from before I was in the hospital. *sigh* I *still* have bruises on my left arm from the IV. I'm not looking forward to having my veins picked at again. And then I have a dr. appt. with my regular dr. I just hope I have time in between to get something to eat.

Apparently they couldn't do my "lipids" because that wasn't related to what I was in for, so the insurance wouldn't have covered it. They got everything else though.

Insurance companies are weird. They didn't want to pay for the Mon. because they said I could have had the surgery that day, and I didn't until the next--even though I didn't see the surgeon till Mon. afternoon, and not all the stuff they wanted to do beforehand was finished. Fortunately the dr. talked them out of *that*.

Those fasting blood tests are the worst! I hate starving--I guess that's the hobbit in me, or else I'm just a piglet. :-P Seems I'm not the only one with pending appointments up to the ears! Good luck to you. :-)
