I saw that story on the FoxNews page last night! Isn't that too cool? According to another article I read, Gandalf is a Shiloh Shepherd, an unfamiliar breed to me, but who knows if that's not another term for "Maia."

I love little LOTR-y moments like that. This afternoon as I logged on at the computer in the ER office I was sure the username of the person who used it before me was "pippin", lol. It wasn't, not by far, but I still thought that is what it said. :D Gotta love that kind of moments.

And of course, it's good they found the boy!

We ran that story yesterday, and I managed to keep silent about Gandalf (the dog) finding the little boy. They know how big a geek I am about LotR! But it really is good news that they found the boy alive after four days of being lost. The wizard found his hobbit! ;-)
