Well, nasty weather is headed my way...
Jan. 31st, 2011 07:15 pmI just had two phone calls.
The first one was from the Payne County Emergency Center to tell me that the storm we've been expecting is on the way, and to stay home and off the roads.
The second one was from the DH, who is at work in Tulsa, to tell that-- as we had figured-- he is unlikely to be home before Wednesday. The nursing home will put staff up there. Of course he wanted to make sure I was OK. And I am right now, because so far nothings happening.
But they expect it to. So if I vanish off the face of the earth sometime in the next 24 hours, it's the weather and the power and cable being out.
OTOH, hope springs eternal, and I will keep my fingers crossed that that won't happen. And I am in for a very long and boring 60 or so hours all by myself.
