ESPECIALLY if you normally skim over me...

I really am a chicken. I have never really made any kind of serious effort to trim my flist since I got my LJ. I'm afraid I will offend someone, or even worse, hurt someone's feelings. I'm afraid I will accidentally delete someone that I didn't mean to. And quite honestly it seems like an overwhelming task.

So, here's the deal: this is an invitation to *unfriend* me. If you rarely, if ever, read my posts, if you never comment on them, if I never comment on you, if you've lost interest because you've moved on to another fandom, and don't care much about hobbits anymore, or well, whatever--unfriend me!

Then, see, I can go in and unfriend the ones who unfriended me.

Also, if you still want to keep me, but you know of someone else on my flist who never posts anymore, because they've abandoned LJ, let me know, and I can unfriend them without feeling any guilt. Or if I have you friended at more than one journal, let me know which one you want me to keep, and I'll unfriend the others.

*makes puppy dog eyes* Help me out here.

I won't be hurt or offended if you take me up on this--I will be relieved.

And if you are someone I like to read about anyway, well, I'll just keep you without you being obligated to do the same.

I know that I don't comment often (especially lately), but this is a problem I have for all my flist! I'm looking forward to Term Break when I can really comment and be a pest! I do read though while snatching breakfast each morning, and I follow your posts, so while I will understand if you want to delete me, I hope that you may keep me. :)

abby_normal is no longer active on LJ except for occasionally modding a community or two.

I believe that danachan has switched to danae_b so you could perhaps trim her older journal. However, I only have heard this second hand, and you must know about her better than I! ETA: I went to her Danachan journal and there's a message saying it's closed.

Also, pippinswolf switched to kimbys_place, but then I think switched back again. I'm not sure what she's doing now, but I haven't seen any sign of her for a long, long time, so I think she may have left all together. You have both her journals on your flist.
