Well, the tornadoes skipped over us, but the thunderstorms were *dreadful*--they kept us awake most of the last two nights with the sheer *NOISE*! It was like trying to sleep inside of a drum.

I've been through quieter *hurricanes*!

Actually, though, the daytime weather was rather pleasant, if just a bit muggy. The storms didn't go on a tear until nighttime.
