Quiet Sunday

It's been a very quiet and lazy Sunday for the two of us.

We woke up extra early, thanks to the dogs, who decided to have a fight at 5:55AM. So we decided to go to the early service at church. We'd never been to the early service before--it was much more informal and laid back. They had it in the church parlor instead of in the sanctuary.

We came home with all sorts of good intentions for mowing lawns, working in the garden, and so on, but instead, I've been on the computer most of the day, and the DH has been reading, watching TV and resting his eyeballs, LOL!

At any rate, I've got all my MEFA nominations done! (By the way--to anyone who still wants to nominate anyone, I think there's still an hour or so left.) And I've been busily getting things ready for tomorrow's Father's Day Challenge stories to appear at lotr_community. I know that some of you still have stories to finish--don't worry, we'll accept late entries!

How splendid! I got myself signed up for MEFA voting, anyway, and have left a grand total of one review. Go me.

I also figured out this Last Ship business, put my LotR fic on there, and left you a review or two to make sure I had it down. Pretty exciting, all way round. And I'm really excited about the Father's Day fics...can't wait to read them all!

I wasn't totally vegged out today as I baked bread but I never did do anything with the strawberries I picked and cleaned yesterday. I've got them in the fridge and will start crushing them tomorrow.

I got my challenge fic done after all for Father's Day and posted it to the community about a half hour ago. Phew!

Thanks for doing the challenges! They are fun, although my muse isn't terribly cooperative about working on them until the last minute...
