Many Paths to Tread-- A Tolkien Fanfiction Archive of the Lord of the Rings GenFic Community

ceshaughnessy, dawn_felagund, pearltook1 and I have been working very hard on this for months now, and are so pleased that it is now available.

For the time being, only members at the lotr_community or its sister group on Yahoo! LOTR_Community_GFIC will have posting privileges. Unfortunately that means a mod will have to set your posting status manually, so please be patient when you sign up to post. However, anyone can read and comment.

It *is* a new archive, and so if you have any problems, please email the mods for general questions or our websmith Dawn if there are any techy-type questions!

But, well, please come play with our shiny new toy!

I was just wondering how it will be different from TLS.

Is this an LJ community? or more like SoA and TLS?

It is an archive, like SoA and TLS, but we are hoping to keep it active with lots of challenges and activities tied in to the sister communities. And we have a few "bells and whistles" that TLS doesn't have.

Also, of course, its focus is more gen-oriented, even though we will be accepting R stories with an "R" rating, most of our authors tend to prefer gen and family-oriented stories.
