Happy Easter!

Lent has ended and the day of Easter is here! I have to work today, so we went to the Sunrise service. Because we are having much needed rain here today, the planned outdoor service was held at our church instead.
Morning has Broken:
Affirmation from I Corinthians 15-1-6 and Colossians 1:15-20:
"This is the good news which we have received, in which we stand, and by which we are saved:
Christ died for our sins, was buried, was raised on the third day, and appeared first to the women, then to Peter and the Twelve, and then to many faithful witnesses.
We believe Jesus is the Christ, the Annointed One of God, the firstborn of all creation, the firstborn from the dead, im whom all things hold together, in whom the fullness of God was pleased to dwell by the power of the Spirit.
Christ is the head of the body, the church, and by the blood of the cross reconciles all things to God. Amen"
I've enjoyed the challenge of making my Lenten posts this year. I hope that they have not been entirely boring, and that perhaps a few of you found them inspiring as I did. I wish a Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate this day as well! And to those of you who do not, I hope you have a wonderful day!
