	Sophie and the Christmas tree She resisted stealing off the ornaments until the day before we took the tree down.
	Miss Bell and the Christmas tree Actually she was looking out the window.
	She makes a nice decoration, doesn't she? She loves to lay on the mantel. The ornaments on the garland are some that I made in 1970.
	Sophie discovers the window. Because we had moved the loveseat away from the window to make a space for the Christmas tree, Sophie had never had such a good view out the front window before.
	New favorited place to lay. She just loves her new spot-- she can see everything!
	Miss Bell I couldn't resist this shot of her on the arm of my chair.
	How high can she get? Here's Miss Bell on top of our CD/DVD case.
	Miss Bell on top of the china cabinet Still not quite sure how she got up there-- there's not really a good spot for her to climb up from...

Our friends are our most treasured ornaments, aren't they? :)

It took me a year to realize that Pippin needed a way to see out the front window (which is higher off the ground than she is). She immediately loved her new seat, and is sitting there right now.

They're both so cute. My daughter's dog, Poppy, loves to sit up on the back of the love seat, or the sofa, so she can look out the window, or see over the stairway when I come out of my apartment onto the landing.

Awww! Pet pics! :-)

Some cats are able to jump as much as 7 feet vertically, so Miss Bell may have simply jumped up onto the china cabinet.

They are both adorable! I particularly like the one of Miss Bell on the mantel.
