danachan, here's some pics of Gulf Wars. I only got to attend Thursday and Saturday, and the pictures came up somewhat out of order. They are all thumbnails, so you can click on them to get a better view.

Thursday, I spent most of the day at Scribe's Point working on scrolls, and Saturday I did a lot of shopping. Since I had the drive back, I did not stay for Great Court Saturday night, though I would have dearly loved to.

I had loads of fun though, and saw a few people that I did not expect to see, since I knew that they had been affected badly by Katrina. But they had made it there anyway, which pleased me no end!

The first six pics were taken Saturday afternoon, at our encampment, at Baronial Court. (Barony of Seleone, Kingdom of Glean Abhann)

Here's one of Thursday's Woods Battle, a Resurrection battle. (For those of you who are not SCA, means the fighter can get killed over and over again, LOL!)

I'm not sure whose encampment this is, but they are fortunate enough to have "The Green Dragon" there:

This strange person with her tongue sticking out is me, at Scribe's Point, on Thursday. Even when I knew someone was taking my pic, I could *not* work without sticking out my tongue, LOL!
