We just got to the house--she had quite an adventure! I'm going to let her tell about her ADVENTURE!

So, I got off the plane and I was on the phone with my mother, letting her know that I had arrived safely. And then I turned around because I needed to go the bathroom, only this weird little dwarf man shouted at me, saying YOU ARE IN TROUBLE. I froze. A siren blared, a wall came down. Then airport security showed up. By this time, I was in tears. I thought they were going to arrest me because I hadn't noticed this REALLY OBVIOUS SIGN saying you weren't allowed to turn around and go back the way I had came. (All I wanted to do was go to the bathroom.) Anyhow, they gave me a warning, and then I wandered off, still in tears. I had to call my mother back, because I just kind of shut my phone off in the middle of the mess.

But I made it! I was not arrested because I missed a really big sign! I will make sure I pay attention to things at Tulsa Airport, because security there is REALLY severe.

I stopped crying eventually.

Now I am at Barbara's house and I feel warm and welcome and have a nice s(w)quishy airmatress bed on which to sleep. Things are awesome. There have been hugs! There shall be much talk of hobbiits, no doubt (you all must be surprised).

We were about ten minutes late getting to the airport, because the turnpike is really confusing. When I called her to check where she was, she was in tears, but beginning to calm down. Sooo...we are talking on the phone and I'm asking her where she is, and then I see her, sitting on a bench talking to me! But we had to double park to get her in the car.

We stopped at an Arby's on the way back, because Dana'd had no chance for supper in Memphis. Now we are at the house, and I am so excited, because I have a Dana here!!!!!!! *VBG*

A week from tonight, danae_b will be flying into Tulsa, and we'll be picking her up at the airport to come and stay for a week! *grin*

It was a shame she couldn't come at Christmas, but in some ways this may work out better! And we are going to talk about hobbits, and fic, and hobbits, and LotR, and hobbits...

I'm getting so excited!
