I have been gradually trying to work up to walking Sophie two miles. Up till today, the closest I got was 1.89 miles.
Today I went a different way than I'd been going, because I decided to walk by the pharmacy and pick up some RX refills. (We just walked up to the window.) Anyhow we took a totally different route coming home. 2.39 miles!!!

The building is the D'Iberville Public Library, and I still recognize so many of the folks. *sigh* And that's one of the first dances I learned years and years ago...

It's true that there are any number of people who find their creative urge satisfied with only one form of creativity. There are those musicians, artists, sculptors, writers, chefs, gardeners, designers, inventors and any number of other sorts of people who are satisfied to fulfill themselves by perfecting their skills in their one area of expertise.
And then there are those of us who want to try everything, at least a little bit...( Read more... )
