Miss Bell discovers my Easter wreath... Miss Bell discovers my Easter wreath... I took this pic a couple of weeks ago and finally felt up to uploading and posting it. It's on our front screened in porch-- Miss Bell's favorite place in the world-- and I had put out the springtime wreath and the Easter wreath in anticipation of putting them up. A couple of hours later I found Miss Bell making herself at home in them. I think she looks very pretty curled up among the flowers, LOL!

Last night the DH and I decided to watch "Puss in Boots" on Netflix-- the Shrek spin-off with Antonio Banderas as Puss. Well, Miss Bell decided that was a good time to take a stroll across the top of the DVR and walk in front of the TV as we watched it. Then she decided to sit down and watch a while herself. I was very disappointed not to have my camera handy! I think she was fangirling Puss, LOL!

And Sophie has been really clingy today, and very jealous of attention. Poor Bell retreated to the sewing room tonight (we keep it kind of shut off with a child gate, just so Bell does have a place to get away from the the dog) because Sophie was chasing her and pouncing on her.

She's finally settled down some, but I expect she won't be happy when I get up to go take my shower.

OH! [livejournal.com profile] shirebound! Yesterday, the DH and I saw a cute little min-pin/chihuahua mix! She took more after the min-pin side of the family in markings and coloring, and she could CLIMB. We saw her climb nearly to the top of a 6' kennel enclosure, just like a cat!

Making it mine Making it mine See my custom decals? They were the DH's idea. I have always wanted a little blue car named "Merriweather" (after the blue fairy in Sleeping Beauty. And he suggested an LotR quote-- I thought this one seemed right for a car... They were fairly inexpensive (less than $15 for both of them). So I may get myself a few more for other parts of the car, LOL!

FINALLY!

I thought they'd *never* get ripe! But now we have...

Tomatoes!
The two large ones are the *Brandywine* variety, LOL! (How could I resist that?) The smaller ones are Jubilee and also a cherry variety. The labeled markers got lost when my seedlings blew over in the greenhouse, so I can't be positive which are which.
Tomatoes!

What'd life be without homegrown tomatoes
Only two things that money can't buy
That's true love & homegrown tomatoes!

The bathroom window in our new house is right over the bathtub. Only the upper part of the window is frosted glass; the lower part was just plain. There was a totally inappropriate set of curtains and a pull down blind. Not terriby practical when taking a shower.

Here's what I did...
