After I made my last post, I found this:

I thought they'd *never* get ripe! But now we have...

Tomatoes! The two large ones are the *Brandywine* variety, LOL! (How could I resist that?) The smaller ones are Jubilee and also a cherry variety. The labeled markers got lost when my seedlings blew over in the greenhouse, so I can't be positive which are which.

And so I was telling everyone a few weeks ago about my upside down tomatoes. Anyway, I've been having some of the cherry tomatoes for a while, but two days ago, my first Early Girl ripened...

*grin* I had my first tomatoes off my plants tonight! Four little cherry tomatoes from the Sweet 100, and oh! weren't they sweet and juicy! Two for my salad, two for the DH.

I was so pleased, because after one of the thunderstorms the other night, the iron pole holding my buckets broke, dumping them on the ground!

The next day, the DH put some hooks into the eaves of the garage, and we hung them there. The plants looked a bit battered, but they have recovered nicely! I can't wait till the larger ones start getting ripe, too!

Last week I posted about my garden and my tomatoes, and I promised some pics. Thanks to danachan I am now able to show you!
